8) Reward puppy for good behavior. 

9) The more time you spend with the puppy the quicker you'll bond with each other.

10) Do not scream at puppy as he is trying to adjust to a new environment. You don't want to stress or frustrate puppy.

11) Teach obedience.

12) Watch for early signs of illness. 

13) Something is wrong if your puppy stops eating.
